Good Label Maker with some reservations. I have an older version of this which I am giving to a friend, so this new model is a replacement. It is smaller and yet still uses the same cartridges as the old model. A lot of people don't like the waste of label material when you print, but for me it's not that big of a deal. Tapes are only about $10 each. I paid $28.95 for this label maker and now notice that the price is down to $19.99 - so you may want to wait for the best price. Great machine--get it! Careful it does not come with the POWER CORD. That's a separate nearly $8 plus nearly $ in shipping. Perfect gift for my husband! He needed to label his homebrew supplies for beer-making! The best one we could find. The only problem is it does not come with the plug for the wall. You have to pay $8 for it plus $8 shipping. Cheaper just to drive to the store but where to find the darn cord for the normal price. So annoying!!

Easy to use and makes really nice labels I love this thing! It came highly recommended by Jennifer McGuire as a tool to mark scrapbooking supplies and that is what I have used it for so far although it will be handy all around the house. It comes with a sample tape that has lasted pretty well, and tape is available in various sizes and colors.
