Brother P-touch label maker is a solid machine for general home/home office use I got this labelmaker on a black friday price match to office depot. It's a solid machine and highly sold and used at least according to amazon.com's listings. The buttons have a nice tactile touch and the manual is short but gives a nice range of options for an entry level model. Nice! More bells and whistles that my last P-Touch (bought in 2000 and it still works!), which I guess is the point. I've learned to use a couple of them but I'll have to study the booklet again to learn more. One of the new features I want to learn next is setting the length of the unprinted tape on either side of what is printed. I like the font choices!
