Three Stars Too big and bulky
Good general purpose label maker. Easy to use. I've put barcodes and serial numbers on high value property. I can run a makeshift free inventory check using Open Office and a USB barcode scanner. If you need a label maker w/ simple barcode flexibility, this is an excellent value. If you move around a lot, you may want a lael maker with a smaller form-factor, but for home use this is excellent.

Squeaky and environmentally unfriendly... It works well, but there are two gripes--one minor, one major: Minor Gripe: As others have mentioned in their reviews, it does squeak a bit. Major Gripe: Every label job wastes about 1 inch of tape before actually printing. This is unacceptable--it seems to force customers to purchase more label tape. That 1" per job adds up over time...
