Simple but quality labels. ZERO ink! Never had a single printing error. Takes 4 AAA batteries, labels stick well!
Nice printing but... Although this label maker makes good quality labels, I am very unhappy with the difficulty in peeling away the paper backing from the label. It takes forever, very frustrating. I had been using a friend's label maker (also a Brother) which I liked better because the backing released so easily. Mistakenly, I ordered this one for myself. If I needed to use a label maker on a more frequent basis, I would get rid of this one and buy something else.
Small Label Maker I'm disappointed! I thought this label printer would have more choices of fonts. It does not! It's ok for labeling files or id tags on items.
WRITING IS TOO SMALL AND TAPE IS EXTREMELY HARD TO SEPARATE It was a great price but compared to others it's more time consuming to use. Writing wont print extra large and the large is too small. To peel off the paper is very difficult to separate. Other machines have paper that is split in the middle to separate in too pieces so we don't have to fuss trying to get our nail under the edge to peel it. Better machines out there.
Difficult to peel off the backing of the tape. Writes well and easy to use but, once the tape is printed, it's difficult to peel off the backing.
