Everyone needs a p-touch This is an important tool for craft organization. I like using it to label my roses in the garden. I have to know each name and its category if it is going to compete in a rose show. Bought some slate garden markers from Amazon and stick the labels on them for an attractive identifier. The only drawback to using them this way is brutal weather. Heat and then cold sometimes enables the label to give up and fall off. I just make a new one and replace it. Kaye R

I just wanted a lable maker Pro: It does print labels. As long as you don't want more functionality than the old school embossed labels you're OK. There doesn't seem to be any ink jet style chip stupidity on the label tapes. Hopefully it will let you use aftermarket tapes. We'll see. Con: The labeler does do it's job but the user interface design if horrifying. The instructions fold out to the size of a world map and the square yard of instructions are printed in about 6 point type. Good luck figuring out how to make a colon... read more
Basic Label maker. I had a really old one that just didn't work anymore.. I had a lot of cartridges.. and this took the same cartridges.. so I am happy with this purchase. very easy to use has no frills.. but for my purpose it is GREAT!
The product is in top condition, I like products made by Brother. I was able to fix my old one and I don't need two of them.
