Our realtor recommended Mike Tavani at Guaranteed Rate, and we are so glad that she did. Mike checked in with us throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer our endless questions, and he broke down all the numbers for us in different ways. He was great at communicating (day and night). His team worked quickly to get our loan approved, and they were very flexible and accommodating when our closing date got moved up. We couldn't have imagined going through the first time home buying experience without him!

Lee got his Guaranteed Rate VA mortgage loan team up and running in early January 2023 to meet a closing date of Feb 23rd which is very rare for this type of loan that requires a lot of paperwork and verifications. I gave his team a deadline of Feb 24th because I planned and pre-paid a ski trip to Aspen Snowmass and they beat it by a day which allowed me to leave early and start skiing on time! They literally sped through all the VA document and funding requirements which is not usually the case.

Jim was a consumate professional. My loan was extremely difficult due to the type of co-op residence that it is. Jim worked endlessly with the co-op board and went to bat for me on more than one occasion. He lead me through the process and informed me all the way. He even did a refinance knowing all the endless work that would be involved without hesitation. I would not hesitate to refer or use his services again.

When we bought our property in North Idaho, we tried multiple lenders but none of them could get it done because of the uniqueness of the property. Lee worked his butt off, stayed in constant contact, kept our rate low, and got the deal done. I couldn’t say more about his professionalism, communication, and demeanor. Lee was awesome!

Mike was incredible to work with from start to finish of the mortgage process. As first time home buyers, my husband and I came in with a ton of questions about the process. Mike was quick to respond and always friendly as he guided us through. He also was able to match a lower rate from another company. Even better, right before interests rates had a big spike, Mike locked us in at our lower rate—saving us a whole percentage point prior to our close!
