The nursing staff has no accountability to anything and does not take any responsibility to anything. In two months have I have received 3 calls telling me they were totally out of a medication. There is no inventory of meds and no set points to reordering. The nurses just passes out the meds and does not worry about what in inventory or reordering. The pharmacy sets when a person gets the meds even with doctor orders the nurses will not give the meds at correct times. This resulted in uncontrolled blood pressure. The facili... read more
Food is definitely one of Red Cedar Glens weakest qualities. I think they need better cooks and better management. The supervision in all of the above listed categories is lacking. I think they could do better.
Staff and residents are friendly and competent. I do wish they had more vegetables and healthy options on the menu. A daily salad bar would be nice. I would recommend Red Cedar Glen to others looking.

I am still finding my place around here, but overall I am very satisfied. The facility is always clean the staff are very attentive friendly and caring. All questions are answered any concerns I have had has been addressed. I find them doing everything very well I'm allowed to have a ring camera in her room.So if I see someone I'm not familiar with they always know.I feel that helps.
Red Cedar Glen has been a perfect fit. The staff is great, always willing to help. I feel safe and I know someone always has an eye on her. Meals and events keep me with good company. My goal is am to stay here long term.
I highly recommend Red Cedar Glen the staff is absolutely wonderful and everything about this is to my liking. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Hendersonville has something for everybody even us old folks. We are working on the menu with the chef.
The staff is super courteous and helpful. The cleanliness is not the best but definitely above average for this type of facility. Everyone is super friendly and seem to genuinely care for the elderly. Not so much applicable due to being independent living but there were a few times they came to Moms rescue above and beyond the independent requirements. We chose Red Cedar Glen initially because my aunt knew some of the other residents here, which was nice and helped her settle in. There was a lot of turnover in tech staff. Admissions and the main nurse were fantastic, but the constant change in staff was unsettling.
