The method of processing the payment checks was slow and cumbersome. We received the checks mid-afternoon on 12/22. We prepared them for mailing and got them to the post office the next day. Being a holiday weekend they could not have been received until today (12/27) at the earliest. It would have been cleaner if payment had been made electronically directly.
