I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring Repipe Specialists for some plumbing work, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. If you do not believe me please look them up on the Better Business Bureau and small court cases for similar complaints; I wish I had done my homework before hiring them. The pipes are functional and appear to be properly installed. That's the extent of my positive feelings. They took the cover off the street side water meter to shut off the main water. Instead of reinstalling it properly with the lock, they simply set the lid on there. I stepped on it coming home from a walk with my family and fell through. I wouldn't recommend them. they subcontract all their work. the companies they use don't stand behind after work. you can't find nobody to be responsible for anything that breaks. it'll cost you more than what they say. for example, I had them hit a power line I had to fix. I had them break a TV nobody's contacting me. they broke an Xbox power cord and I had two water leaks. they would only fix one. the other one. I they say that it's on my end. I had the whole house repipes. they don't tell you that they subcontact the jobs
We contacted RePipe Specialists of Arizona to solicit a bid to repipe our home in Fountain Hills, AZ. Mike Miron, Sales Manager, visited our home and gave us a written quote to perform the work. If I could give a negative review, I would. I should have done more research before hiring Repipe Specialists to do the job. It’s been a month and the job is half completed. They said they would work us in. Only time available was 4 AM. I woke up to go to the property and waited till 5 AM and no one showed. What a shame, waste of money, and time. Parts of my experience were fantastic others were plain crappy. Ill give them 2.5 stars. The Estimator was great! He Took plenty of time to explain everything. Pricing was competitive. Financing options were a life saver. They worked us in much quicker than other companies could. Time was of the essence as this was for a rental property we needed to fill. We chose repipe in OKC to do our full house repipe back in February. I DO NOT recommend them. The sub contractors used did not do quality work. We had to have them out three additional times to finish things they failed to do the first go around. The contractor doing the patch work found leaks that needed fixed. They chipped tile in my tub installing new faucets. Mind you, the chip was located no where near the faucet that was being installed. They did not use drop cloths as stated in the welcome packet. Repipe hired Crown plumbing to handle the repipe at my house & they canceled the 1st day took 4 days & didn’t show the 5th day & had no idea how many more days the we’re going take to finish repping my home of a 1,00sq feet, my washer never got repiped or even hooked back up & all this took place 12/19 ! They didn’t even pull the permit till after I asked to have job inspected ! Repipe says I owe them ! The hot water heater leaks now & the left me with no hot water for months ! I had house repiping work done through "Repipe Specialists of Oregon" - but they don't actually do the work, they contract out to local plumbers. If they assign you "Davis Plumbing" run away. Insist on getting a different contractor. Davis Plumbing did an "acceptable" job on the actual plumbing/pipe replacement - but everything else about their work was shoddy.
