Before the procedure, I was in constant discomfort. An Xray and MRI both showed degenerative disc disease which was causing muscle tension and spasming in upper back and neck. Now, 5 months after the treatment I am at least 80% symptom free. I feel very confident in Dr. Desai's treatment plan.

I have had a couple of treatments from them. I was frustrated with the lack of communication. They don’t return calls when you have an urgent question after a procedure. I liked Dr Desai but was not convinced with their treatment
I have found Dr. Michaels to be extremely knowledgeable for problems related to the neck and back. I appreciate his measured and systematic approach to addressing concerns. He makes it clear that while he as the physician has a number of tools and procedures, ultimately the patient is the most important cog in the therapy system. I like his "team" concept on restoring one's health. His goal is to get people out of the health care "system" and back to life!
Recently I met with Dr. Michaels @ Restore PDX to discuss my shoulder issue and corrective options. Stem Cell Therapy was the best alternative to surgery, despite the cost (not yet covered by insurance). In comparison to surgery, the Stem Cell procedure was fast, had minimal pain, and the recovery was significantly shorter. I highly recommend Dr. Michaels @ Restore PDX and the Stem Cell Therapy they provide.
Dr. Michaels is an excellent physician - he listens to his patients, is easy to talk with, and asks appropriate questions. He looks for solutions and explores a variety of treatment options to help his patients. He explains things well, takes time to answer questions, and does not make his patients feel rushed. Dr. Michaels is a caring professional; he is leaving this area and I am truly sorry to see him go - but very grateful he was here to get us on the right track.

Had so many things wrong in my spine that surgery was not an option. Have had shots in back and finally Radiofrequency Ablation (burning of nerves). After being continually in pain my pain level is now .5 out of a scale of 0-10, which for me is a miracle. He is patient, and understanding. He really listens to what you are telling him and seems to really care and explains what he is going to do before and while he does it. I have found his staff to be the same way. Would highly recommend him!
