RecommendedMy ’17 JKU was giving a check engine light and ‘gas cap’ error code. I had been told by my regular local dealership in Mt. Juliet, same day, I would have to make an appt, bring it back, and there would be a minimum “diagnostic fee” of $120. I went to Rhythm Jeep Rivergate for a 2nd opinion and spoke with Gary in Service. He connected a Code Reader Diagnostic Tool to diagnose the issue. He told me that it could just need a system update to make the code go away.
