I really think there was either a lack of communication, there were too many people involved, or there were Issues due to an uptick in Covid cases. I also think there was pressure from the builder to close as soon as he said he was ready without concern about the buyer and last minute changes. I’m not sure what happened with the confusion at the closing, but my daughter was asked to pay almost $1000 more, and needed to obtain a cashiers check. There was quite a few times that we were not communicated with regarding paperwork issues on the online portal. We had issues at the closing table and then after we signed docs at vlidd at one we had other I communicated issues where we had to re sign more online docs. We were successful with the refinance but the process was less than smooth.
