good rest after a soak at Orvis Hot Springs and dinner in Ridgway I really was disappointed at the location of the hottub pool room which is nothing they can change at this point but the thought of needing to walk through the common area, the check in desk the breakfast room and the bar (all one room) damp and in a bathing suit and robe just kept me from enjoying that part of the stay which I'd been really looking forward to. I liked the price and the location. Staff was friendly

Great value and location; make sure you get a room at the end of the corridor away from the bar. Having a lobby bar that is not closed off from the guest room corridors is a problem for those of us attempting to go to bed at a reasonable hour. Lots of noise carried up to my room from 9:30-10:30pm on a Friday night. I get it's a Friday night, but not everyone is staying up late and for some Saturday is still a work day. Matt was super welcoming and flexible on allowing an early check-in.
