The food was outstanding (as usual) and the COVID-19 precautions they have in place surpass what we expected. We felt extremely safe and had a wonderful experience. Bartolotta's does it right!
Ann our server was wonderful. So personable and made our evening fun. We are so grateful to Bartolotta’s for taking Covid precautions so seriously. There restaurants are the only ones we trust to eat inside.
Loved the food and the hospitality! So glad they care about their staff and diners so much, complying to social distancing and masks. Staff went above and beyond to make it a wonderful dining experience.
While the prix fixe Sicilian menu was quite enjoyable, it was tempered and interrupted by Bartolotta's mask policy. Where as Gov. Evers' order only requires masks be worn in common areas to/fro one's seat, Bartolotta requires customers to don a face mask any time waiter/staff approach the table. We found this to ruin the mode and experience of eating fine dining and sipping good wine. We are unable to recommend Bartolotta restaurants, due to their mask policy.
Amazing menu selection with Sicilian regional theme.
Four course dinner was great!
My husband and I decided to venture out to a "safe" restaurant and picked Ristorante Bartolotta in Wauwatosa. The day before our reservation, I was contacted by a member of the restaurant's staff to go over the guidelines of dining in their beautiful outside patio. The safety of patrons and staff is foremost in their mind. The night was magical! From the moment we entered, we were taken on a culinary tour of Sicily. Four courses of the freshest regional food. The trip to Sicily was a joy to my palate. The menu options were interesting and enticing and made for difficult selection. Upon careful thought, I selected the soup, casarecce al pesto trapenase, a more tomato based pesto, melt-in-your-mouth Mediterranean seabass with a spectacular blend of tomato, lemon, capers, Castelvetrano green olives, and fresh oregano. We have dined at Bartolotta before but not since COVID-19. Their outdoor dining area was so well decorated and unique. Great detail was put into making you feel that you were in Italy. The food was excellent; the wine recommended was excellent; the precautions they took were beyond what you normally see. We felt very safe. An absolutely delightful evening!!
