We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner on our anniversary. Service was excellent.
We were having an early birthday celebration for my husband. We didn't realize that Monday & Tuesdays were 1/2 price wine night. Bonus! Had delicious Rocket Baby bread to start followed by a Caesar Salad and then an app of mozzarella, olives, oregano & tomatoes, MOZZARELLA ALLA PIZZAIOLA, with toasted bread. We have been coming to Ristorante Bartolotta for many years. It's always consistent and the food is excellent. The bartender on this particular night, when we arrived a little early, was delightful. I had a cocktail and the rest of the party had wine. Great experience. The meal was excellent and it was a fun evening for our friend who was celebrating his birthday. It's a great place if you want to have conversation without shouting above the noise. The waitstaff is knowledgable the ambiance is very comfortable.
We have dined at this restaurant many times and it’s been nothing short of amazing. Perhaps they were short staffed, but service was extremely slow and w had to wait 20 min to get our reserved table. Food was excellent!
The food is delicious yet the menu seemed to have fewer choices than I remember. I would visit here again for special occasions as it is pricey.)
Excellent all around
The wife and I really enjoy this restaurant. The food is always good, consistent quality and the servers always make sure we're well taken care of. The place itself is charming, really a comfortable ambiance. I've never sent a dish back to the kitchen, your meal is always prepared the way it was ordered. The duck Ragu is to die for, a very unique dish, it's hard for me to order anything else! best food in the Milwaukee area!
Newish to Milwaukee Dining Scene: We recently moved back to Milwaukee and decided to celebrate the move back at Ristorante. The service was excellent. My wife and I️ were not crazy about how tight the table spacing was, and found the food to be in between “ok” and “good”. Not sure if this is the best Milwaukee has to offer for Italian but we did love our wine so we are willing to give it another try. Pro Tip: eat at the bar
