First visit since the refreshed decor. Dinner and experience was exceptional as always! Shrimp and chickpea appetizer was different and a nice start to the meal. Service was spot on and timely and even as a table of 6 we were not rushed and were accommodating to splitting plates between 2 people.
This restaurant is always outstanding in every way. We had a wonderful meal, good wine and excellent and attentive service. One of our favorites for authentic Italian dishes, in a cozy dining room with a European feel.
We came to celebrate Parent's Day Weekend at Marquette and had a wonderful evening! Downtown Wauwautosa was charming and the complete experience at Ristorante Bartolotta was outstanding!!!
We have dined here many times and normally is one of our favorites. The food was off tonight. The calamari was a little underdone. Our pasta was not as hot as normal. Service was perfect. We were a little early and I do not know if they were not Ready for us. Not Bartolotta quality tonight.
Wait staff was professional and attentive. Food was very good and half-priced bottles of wines on Mondays and Tuesdays. I was asked how I wanted my salmon to be cooked. I've never been asked that before, but it was done medium rare, just as I had requested.
This is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere. The quality of the food is second to none and the service is always excellent. I tried a relatively new veal dish when we dined there last week and it was simply outstanding! I highly recommend Ristorante Bartolotta, and look forward to our next visit.
We had a great experience on every level. Our waiters Samuel and Andy were attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent as well as the pace of the meal. I recommend sharing the generous appetizer. More room for dessert.
This is one of my very favorite restaurants. The food is delicious: original, fresh, and perfectly prepared. Service was polite, knowledgeable, and unobtrusive. The ONLY downside is the noise level. My friend and I were at a small table and had difficulty carrying on a conversation. We'll be back - shouldn't talk with our mouths full anyway!
The food is good, but I wouldn't say it's great. And the price is expensive, so that can leave a bad taste when paying the bill. Focus on the atmosphere, the excellent wine and the friendly, helpful servers, and you will have a satisfying evening.
