Originally, we planned to eat at the delightful outdoor La Terrazza, but an afternoon thunderstorm forced us to dine inside. That was OK because the restaurant was not crowded at 6:00 pm on a weekday. It was nice to see that windowed dividers had been added to sections of the small dining room since we had last eaten inside. Ristorante Bartolotta is a Special Occasion event for us. Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993 brought our family on a fabulous culinary journey to Venice. I can personally vouch for the excellent polenta with shrimp, cuttlefish ink infused pasta with other tasty fruits of the sea, marvelous scallops, not to mention a tiramisu that is out of this world! All 4 of us thought the food was exquisite. Also thanks to Tony for fantastic service. It was a memorable way to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday!

Great food and format. Best patio in milwaukee. Peter is the best waiter in Milwaukee.
The food was great, and the servers were knowledgeable and friendly. However, this place is very small. Maybe 15 tables, and not a very big space. So if you go on a Friday night or Saturday night, when it’s busy, the noise level is quite high. I’m a young person with good hearing, and it was sometimes difficult to hear what my girlfriend was saying from across the table at a normal speaking level.
As usual, Ristorante Bartolotta excels in service as well as excellence in food. The Venice menu was delicious and many great choices for each course. We left happy and satisfied!
Delightful experience in a charming & romantic atmosphere with pleasant, family, professional, knowledgable, and attentive staff. Will do it again.
Delicious food—my favorite carpaccio!! But also the people who welcomed us provided such a lovely dining experience!!
