Good deal for the price Went for 8 nights as my daughter had a dance competition. Hotel service was pretty awful, we couldn't check in until almost 6:30. That being said, the apartment was nice, pool was excellent and we were close to shopping and the beach. Would suggest bringing own bedding as it is outdated and old.

Not handicapped accessible The room was nice. We liked the setup. When we got there, though, we had a problem with room. My son uses a walker to help him get around. Usuall the doors in any room are big enough but the bathroom doors were too narrow. I called the office, all three numbers that we had, and was on hold for about 45 minutes total. River Oaks Resort ROCKS We brought our family of 6 last weekend for a getaway. Unbelievable location, service, and wonderful place to stay! The normal booking rate if we had booked through the property was $307 per night! But, through hotels.com we booked for $95 per night. The total for a Friday-Sunday stay, with taxes included: $260. This stay was unusual Attempted to call front desk several times for help with t.v. and dryer that were not operating properly. Bedroom T.V had a work order at 5:30 on Saturday afternoon. Dryer streaked up everything it touched...never got in touch with anyone to resolve that concern.The entire apartment needed a good deep cleaning.

Not as advertised This hotel has very nice living space but the beds are horrible! Their idea of a king size bed is pushing 2 twins together. No free wifi as advertised and if you can only use the pool closest to your building. We went as a group but our rooms were no where near each other! We went to Walmart to buy pillows.

Great Location The resort itself was a nice place. I did not like the fact that I had to wash and reuse the towels myself and that I had to make my own bed. I have stayed at several resorts and never had this happen. We also had to take out our own trash or get fined. On top of that there were kids above us that jumped and stomped all times of the night. Father's day weekend trip My stay was father's day weekend from that Thursday to that Sunday..Everything was nicely cleaned but outside around the door was spider web that needed removing..Master bedroom had 2 twins beds together for a king which may not be appreciated by most people.I have a lil OCD so I always disinfect everything AN Clorox things down when I stay..over all it was great!
