Truley a home away from home Upon arriving at the resort we open the door and was just speechless. Every thing was so beautiful. We enjoyed it so much we stayed another day and still did not want to leave. We plan on returning again soon. I highly recommend this place for your home away from home.

Very nice alternative to beach front at Myrtle Beach We could not find a beach front house for 3 nights for our family plus 2 friends on short notice. I finally found this online. The drive to the beach was about 10 minutes...not bad. It was great except they were a bit stingy with kitchen utensils...no colander, no beverage pitcher, one packet or dw detergent, ran out of toilet paper,ect and when I called the front desk I was told this was a privately owned condo and River Oaks did not provide for what was missing. Exceeded Expectations-Excellant Value This condo definitely was an outstanding value for the money. We weren't sure what to expect since this was a last minute booking for us. But we would definitely stay here again. It had everything we needed and the lady checking us in was very friendly and helpful. It was about 4 miles from the beach and boardwalk so it was no big deal having to drive there as opposed to staying right on the beach. Definitely recommend.

Needs extra linen The sofa bed linen was not changed, but other than that it was a great room for the family. It was also in a great location to the park and beach.

great room for the money, far away from attractions We loved the home feeling we got in the room (not the typical hotel atmosphere). Our only complaint was that it was very far out of the way from anything we were doing. The office was poorly marked and we ended up searching for it for almost 30 minutes. Once we got our room assignment, we drove to our place which was still farther out of the way. I would stay here again if I wanted to be out of the way, but I think next time we will try to stay closer to the attractions or ... read more

Can't wait to go back! We stayed at the River Oaks Golf & Tennis Resort in July, 2009 for our family vacation. We loved our condo. It was very clean and we were about 7 minutes from the beach. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen and living area was great! We usually stay on the beach, but our kids loved it just the same. We will definitely be back.

very clean, good upkeep on surrounding area was an enjoyable stay , very clean condo,spacious,all in all great .One small issue "no hot water" make sure to flip the breaker on in the fuse box for the hot water heater. we also had some confusion on which set of condo's we were supposed to be in, but the resptionist took care of it in a timely and curtious fasion.South Carolina is a beatiful place with lots to do in the myrtle beech area.

Great condo!! I could not believe how great this place was for what little we paid! The outside was beautiful & the inside was very clean and neat. The only downfall was that our "king" bed was actually two twins pushed together, which I had read in other comments so I expected that. We had a wonderful time and I was so pleased with River Oaks, I know that's where we will stay in the future when we return to Myrtle Beach.
