They euthanized my Border collie. We requested and paid for a private cremation and the ashes were supposedly to be returned to us in an urn. They cremated her with three other dogs and her ashes were thrown away like garbage. I finally had to threaten a lawsuit to get Riverview to reimburse me for the charges. Their customer service sucks. Granted, they were very apologetic and admitted all culpability it was a terrible experience I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

My dog just got hit by a truck...called them to see if they could take him in for an emergency visit bc I didn't know if he had enough life to make it to Bayfield. Front desk lady said no, sorry...then abruptly hung up while I was still talking. How do you hire employees with zero compassion? WORST EVER.

My wife's stupid cat keeps a) getting into scraps (and losing) or b) eating something that can't have smelled or tasted anything remotely like food (attic insulation) Despite her being old and constantly trying to commit kitty seppuku, riverview has somehow managed to keep her alive and relatively well. I also bring my dog, Charlie, to Karen Nollet for checkups and his heartworm meds, but he's a good boy, and doesn't eat attic insulation. A+ vet clinic despite their apparent skill at keeping a cat alive that clearly do... read more

Two years ago my 6 year old Yorkie died after a routine dental during which they tried to perform an unauthorized procedure. The dog was taken back for severe lethargy the next day and was sent home. She died on the way back to the clinic. The vet admitted wrongdoing and paid a $500 fine and had to attend a class. The office has never offered any compensation for our loss and charged $800. We still can’t talk about it and the vet still sends ‘reminders’ in Daphne’s name. Avoid this vet at all costs.

My heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of Riverview and to Dr. Randy Hayes for the compassionate and medical care given to Torrie. The staff and Randy were concerned and responsive to all of the issues Torrie faced. They made her journey across the Rainbow Bridge a gentle one. Thanks can never be enough for such a great group of professionals. Torrie, Tammy, and I so appreciate you....Thanks Randy for being Torrie's vet...she and I enjoyed many more months together.

We’ve been to probably 15 different vet offices over the last 5 years and Riverview blows the rest out of the water. They can be pricey at times but you get exactly what you pay for here; loving, supportive, and knowledgeable veterinarians and technicians who will do whatever it takes to get your pup feeling better.

I had to do one of the hardest things ever yesterday. Dr. Karen, Nina, Lisa, Franklin were so wonderful. I cannot express how much your compassion meant to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
