Do not live here!! The place is way overpriced for what it's worth; the stair cases are always dirty, the lawn is filled with poop, there is not enough parking, they do a terrible job of keeping you informed on what's happening, appliances break easily, and they do a terrific, terrific job of ripping you off. For example, I left my apartment clean with nothing broken or missing and they charged me $300. Also, the utilities are set at a set rate that is more than is feasible to use, and if you dare pay for parking it's $100 e... read more
Update is that despite repeated noise complaints and speaking to the front office during business hours, ROAM management does nothing to ensure residents' right to quiet enjoyment. You will never know peace or quiet if you live here. Prepare to have loud music shaking your walls all day and night, and for people to yell and shout in the halls in the middle of the night waking you up. I pay nearly $2,000 a month for a 400 square foot, claustrophobic space with cheap, uncomfortable furniture, and am chronically sleep deprived.
I've lived here for over 3 years, solely for the reason I can walk to my college campus, which is the ONLY pro of living here, the location. Whether it being freezing in the hallways during winter, loud parties and music is usually a constant, hobo's in stairwells and wandering around constantly, dirty halls covered with pet feces, elevators not working, outdoor areas are filthy, poor infrastructure such as laggy TVs, malfunctioning microwave, plumbing issues, or that one time a friend of mine got their car broken into while... read more
Very serious dog waste issue. The building is surrounded by dog feces, and there is a regular issue of dog urine and waste in the stairwells and hallways. Nearly every day I accidentally step on various forms of dog waste as I am entering/exiting the building. Regular issue of noisy neighbors. Even though this is an apartment building, residents treat it like dorms. Loud music and yelling late into the night. Very overpriced for what you get. Apartments are very small and the provided furniture is uncomfortable and cheap. Wh... read more
Great apartments, great location. The only thing I think could improve is management having even a little human decency when it comes to the residents. Things happen, circumstances change. At the very least, show some empathy to the people who pay a great deal of money to your business as they are human beings just as much as you are. Times can get tough for people in todays world, and words and actions impact more than you think. A lot of people are one paycheck away from not having food or shelter. Showing that decency fro... read more
BLUF: PARENTS BEWARE: Do not let your kid sign anything in November (or any other time if currently a resident of ROAM), w/o first reviewing the document thoroughly for yourselves. If you've recently had to cosign for your kid to get in to ROAM Student Living, Missoula, expect a lease renewal communication very soon. 'A lease renewal, you say...but my kid just moved in?!' If that strikes you as premature, read on. And while your kid may have only been there for a couple of months, the office might package the lease renewal p... read more
I just completed a two month stay at ROAM this summer and it was perfect. I had a one bedroom and the space was all I needed. Everything you need was there. It was clean, safe, quiet and great location. Near downtown district with lots going on and near the University. The staff was the best. Renee was an awesome manager and Kate, Paige and Matt were always ready to help with any request. So friendly and personable. I would not think of staying anywhere else if I am back in Missoula. Cannot be beat in my opinion for location... read more
I have lived in roam for the last three years and have had nothing but great experiences with management. The maintenance system in great and super easy to get an order in and have the issue fixed within that week! I also love the mailing system, easy to use and ensures your packages stay safe! All in all great place to live, have had 0 problems!
rip off and unorganized. comfortable living but at a hefty price. my roommate moved out and the staff thought it was okay to allow moving staff and cleaners and paineyers to come in whenever they want. they came in while i was in the shower, taking a nap, naked and changing. most of the staff that entered were men and you can imagine my fear and surprise when i got out of the shower and got in a towel and exited the bathroom only to find a random man in my apartment. aside from this roam was a very comfortable living space i... read more
