We’ve been coming to Roanoke Animal Hospital since Spring, 1996, shortly after Dr. Shepherd bought the practice. They are part of our family and take care of our dogs as family members. Highly recommend them. The veterinarians and staff are great. Always make you feel welcome and never rushed.

5 stars! Amber at the front desk was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when I was asking about specific tests and such. Plus she remembered me calling from the day before over our boy Zeke. To say the least, all the staff are extremely compassionate, empathetic and put my mind at ease. Dr. Stickney and Dr. Covington are fabulous. they truly want what is best for your furry family. Our Bubbles had a Dr appointment today and she was a little nervous at first but then came the cheese on a pretzel and everything changed !!! I love everyone there !!! They take the time to make our fur babies for comfortable and safe !! A special thanks to Dr Noel and Hayden for taking such good care of Bubbles today !!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Our first experience with Roanoke Animal Hospital was when our oldest dog died last month. They were helpful and compassionate and I wouldn’t have been able to handle our loss any better without them. I knew that day that this was the animal hospital I wanted to do business with. They have been our veterinarians for the past 20 years. Always friendly and professional, giving expert care and advice for our dachshunds.
The Staff and Vets at Roanoke Animal Hospital are wonderful! Our family has been taking our dogs & cats here for 25 + years. We have never had a bad experience. We love our animals and they do too! They were especially great with end of life care for our animals...not an easy thing to go through and we appreciate them for their compassion.
I love the doctor and staff we are currently seeing for our dog. They are truly great with him as he’s an anxious and stressed pup around other people. We saw one guy who we didn’t like, but happy with who we see now. Staff is always great although it can be a little pricey.
