I would have appreciated if Rob Young had been forthright and communicated that the transaction became contingent upon the sale of the buyers' home. At some point this changed and when I asked why this was not conveyed, I was told that personal information could not be shared about his client! My sellers were held captive with few answers. We closed 10 days late and for the last 2 days prior to closing, Rob would not even respond to an email.

Robert did not communicate very well. To me and other agents involved in the domino closing he was not professional at all. The loan took 3 extra weeks to close. It almost caused 3 other deals to go south. It messed up occupancy of all loans including one he had. I will not recommend him to any buyers. I hope none of my buyers come with a pre-approval from VanDyk. If an agent on down the line with this domino closing wouldn't have reached out to higher up I wonder if we would be closed.

We were supposed to close on the 30th of September and I was in an apartment. I ended up having to pay $300 to extend my lease until the 7th since we ended up not closing until then. It felt like everything was not completed in a timely fashion, it could have just seemed that way, I was stressed. I do understand that this was not Robs or Smitty's fault as this part was out of their hands but it was very unprofessional and poor customer service to not get things completed in a timely manner.
