I would have appreciated a better explanation of the loan documents. When I asked questions, I was made to feel like I was asking stupid questions and I should automatically understand what all the costs were for. I liked that we were able to do pretty much of it online. Roger was supposed to call and go over all of it with us but that didn't happen. I would have marked "good" instead of "just ok" if it was available but it wasn't "great".

The process was pretty confusing. We got a lot of docusign emails with multiple docs but no explanation of what they were. Roger was very helpful personally, and I really appreciated working with him, though even he was mystified why we were getting some of the docs to sign.

Communication between our real estate agent and Churchill was not good. It’s hard to place blame. As first time home buyers, we did not know what to expect from the transaction and how it would go. We trusted that our real estate agent and Churchill would know what they were doing and keep us on track. Everything seemed to go well until right before closing. It would’ve been helpful if Churchill was crystal clear with what what needed from our agent to get what was needed most efficiently.

It seemed like the underwriter needed an extram amount of information and nothing was good enough. Every time we sent papers over we would get a call saying we needed to send more. It almost became a second job for my wife to even provide all the correct paper work. Running to our bank several time and trying to sign scan and email things on almost a daily basis for close to a month along with me working and my wife taking care of paperwork and a family this was a very stressful experience
