I've heard a lot about this place but had never tried it. The other night we decided to order in and chose Rosati's. Seeing they had calzones I decided that was my meal. I added the extras with sausage and bacon and peppers and onions and black olives. Yum! A little while later the food arrived. The driver left it by the door then I went out and got it. I ordered a 14" thin crust pizza online for in-store pick up as part of their 1964 pricing promo. I got pineapple and olives for the toppings. I was helped right away when I walked in and the pizza was ready and warm. It was really good and the slices were cut all the way through which is always nice. My only minor complaint is that I wish the toppings had been spread out more evenly. There were clumps of olives and not much pineapple.

Here at Rosati's, they stick to tradition. That's why their recipe hasn't changed since 1964. That's right, y'all, Rosati's is turning 60 this year. There's currently a sweepstakes to win a 1964 Chevy Impala. I like this place. We've been here for the thin crust and their deep dish and both are pretty good. On our recent visit, we got the 16" Rosati's Monster ($29.99 - Sausage, pepperoni, ground beef, bacon, onion, mushroom, green pepper, and both black and green olives). I hadn't had a Rosati's pizza from this location since the new owners took over, so it seemed like a good plan for Monday Night Football. I ordered the 16 inch thin crust super supreme with Canadian bacon well done. It was absolutely perfect and possibly the best individual effort I've had in Arizona ever. I began going to this location back before franchising kicked in when they only had 2 locations. This one and Scottsdale Road at Shea back then.
