I do prefer a less tomatoey sauce but the appetizers are top notch and the crust is just perfect. Granted I never order deep dish Chicago style. I always order thin crust and it's crisp where it should be and oozing all over with cheese.
We drove 180+ miles to get the pizza from here. My husband's home town is Chicago and he grew up on Rosati's. We were NOT disappointed. Waiter AJ was homegrown Chicago and was the nicest guy ever. We even got a pie to go. Every inch of the restaurant was super clean. I ordered the clams... Pure perfection. I urge people to try this place. I challenge those who love it to introduce it to someone new. We will be back, but love it if opened here in Virginia.
