The Juarez/Venegas/De La Torre family are very grateful with Roze Room Hospice. We appreciate all the care, help, and guidance we received while my lovely Grandfather Valentin Juarez was terminally ill. We felt in disbelief, heart broken, and alone when other hospices closed their doors on us. They denied services because he was a Medi-cal only patient and was not covered with Medi-care. We broke our heads trying to obtain help and information from other hospices and medical plans. It took us weeks to get responses from other places. Fortunately, a friend recommended us to Roze Room. Her mother received care from them. We were astonished when Roze Room accepted him within minutes!! He received a visit from the Social Worker the same day we called. A day after, he received a visit from Dr. Elli and had weekly visits from his primary nurse Ruth. Medicine and equipment always arrived in a timely manner. They were always very patient, guided us, and answered the questions we had. They were all very understanding and caring. Roze Room was with us for more than 2 months. My Grandfather passed away on 6/4/16. Dying in a hospital would have been worst. He would’ve never had the attention he received at home. The nurses came to see him every week and on the last two days they helped the full 24 hrs. We had never experienced Hospice. None of us were prepared to see my Grandfather get weaker day by day and there was nothing that could be done to save him. With the help of Roze Room he was comforted at home. Losing him was and still is very heartbreaking. Without them we would’ve been completely lost.
Thank you Roze Room for your hard work and support. Thank your Dr. Elli, Nurse Ruth, America, and all the interim nurses who helped us.
