Love you several trash companies in the past being from another state and all. Rumpke is one of the worst trash companies I've ever had to use. They don't pick your trash up when I supposed to they don't take the bill off your debit card when you go to pay it. They took a week and a half to take the money off my debit card and the lady in the office had no idea we tried to pay because they don't check the records. They don't pick up the trash when they supposed to in fact my last trash pick up the only took one of my cans. T... read more

If I could leave a zero would do so, we had these folks for over 13 years, we moved and continued service the last year at least quarterly had to call in to ask why no pick. They did pick up every other week for a while called in again complained. The straw that broke the camels back is we have not had service since before Christmas and now into mid Jan., was giving leeway because of road conditions, but doesn’t pay to be a nice guy. On Friday 1/2/26 I called and spoke with ********. I paid my bill and asked her if I would be picked up the following morning. she informed me that my trash would be picked up the following morning due to holiday schedule. I have been in and out of the hospital, so my trash hasnt been set out over the last couple of weeks- so I just wanted to inform them that there would be trash and it absolutely had to be picked up. Terrible company!! They damaged one of my cans trying to pick it up with the automatic arm. Now, they just took one of my personal garbage cans. It was out for pick-up and they must have just thrown the whole can in their truck instead of emptying it. I contacted their customer service on both occasions, but they just don't care. Terrible service and terrible customer service. Avoid them!!
I have had Rumpke service for over a year and never had a problem until 2 weeks ago when they never picked up my trash. I have called their 800 number numerous times and have been told it would be picked up "today". It has never been picked up. Now the wind has blown over the cans and animals have strewed the trash everywhere. I have been forced to go out in the bitter wind and cold and try to retrieve what trash I could from my yard. We placed our trash by the road on Monday last week, for our Tuesday pick-up. The weather was nasty on Tuesday, which my husband and I understand; however, it is Sunday and our trash is still sitting there. We have called 3 times to try to get our trash picked up. Twice, our request was expedited. We deserve much better service than that, especially with the increases weve had in our payment over the last year. After recent snowy weather my trash was never picked up and after talking to them a few times yesterday and today they have notified me that our trash is just being disregarded until next week instead of delaying and changing to a holiday schedule they have completely missed our service day and are stating they will just pick up next week. My trash is over flowing in my bins already and now it will be all over the ground by next week. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I was having issues with a trash service that was offered through the township I live in. I decided to call Rumpke and start their service instead as of November 2, 2025. Rumpke within 24 hours came and dropped the cans off, and service was setup no issue. We put trash out for 2 weeks after, and nothing was being picked up. After calling every day for over a week, we still couldn't get the issue resolved.
