I can't believe the amount of time I've spent on the phone calling them to do the service I've paid for every week. If they pick up the trash on trash day it is a miracle. This is the 8th time they have missed me in just a few months. Why? I see three of their trucks parked at the McDonald's near my house and I think, "Good they are coming to pick up the trash" I just called them about. No. I have had it. This company is trash. Literally! I work for an apartment complex on the Southside of Lexington KY. This service has no pride in their work. They leave piles of trash when they empty our dumpsters and skip us outright if so much as a soda can might be in there way. I have spent months cleaning up after them, and at present have a mountain of garbage piled in front of our compactor. What a bunch of lazy drivers and managemen. a driver damaged the gate entrance to our business on 5/4/2026. A representative came out that day and said they would fix it or we could fix it and send them a bill. We have not heard from them since and it has been 16 days since the incident. Only voice mail and NO returned calls.

Not dependable for pick up on garbage or recycle. Very hit and miss. Not regular. They come sometimes and other times just don't bother. They pick up garbage and not recycle, then they pick up recycle and not garbage other times. Sometimes they haven't come at all for either. I call and they request a return and they don't show anyway.

The most pathetic business I have ever dealt with. Lie after lie after lie. Do not do what they say, had a broken can for two months that would never get replaced. Finally got tired of waiting and discontinued service. Do not recommend...awful.

*WARNING* Had to fire Rumpke on second dumpster. This company failed to complete their mission. The driver just left the site at 7:30 am (fly by) because, they have a "dead run fee" $250 whenever there is an issue. AS A BUSINESS OWNER, IM WARNING YOU DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. called them as the customer and they were rude and dismissive. Talking as if I work for them or something. Fired them after speaking to dismiss manager. You are WARNED!

I am in the process of selling my house. I called and let them know I needed a couch picked up and the lady said they would pick it up if I locked the arms and foot rest down so I ducked taped them in place. The day went by they were supposed to pick it up and I called and she said it has to be 100% wrapped in plastic. That would of been nice to know up front. Now a photographer is coming to take pictures of the house and Im stuck with a couch sitting out front. Service is a joke from this company.

Still waiting, nearly 2 weeks in, for recycle pickup...why is this an issue? Rumpke did not pick up (without warning) because of a recent snow, although other trash companies did. Not a huge deal, called and was told they would come soon....a week later and they still did not come. Luckily this is the dead of winter and not the hot summer, or the whole street would have a delightful smell to it...called in the 2nd week, was told they'd come back that day, which they didn't do, then that they'd come back within 48 hrs, which ... read more

Every week they throw the trash cans around with little regard for where they end up, damage and dropping trash all over the area. Every week I have to pick up trash in the road from their trucks and remove the trash cans from the street. Sloppy work, total disregard for the neighborhood. Make sure your truck bin is empty before moving to the next service address. Return the trash cans/bins to where you picked them up.
