Rumpke does a very formiable job of trash/recycle removal. Well done.
we have had this service for years. we enjoy the "any week" bulk pickup. a simple phone call to let them know. best garbage service we have ever had.
Our ******* service has been perfect for the 30 years weve been a customer. They allow us a pause when we go to ******* for the winter and they have never failed to pick up. I just wish they had pickup for recycling in our area. Maybe someday. A big thank you to the drivers, who have an often nasty job. We appreciate you!
Rumpke has been excellent. The drivers are friendly and courteous and billing is straightforward quarterly payments. Recent addition of fuel charge has increased cost, but they are still more economical than competitor Waste Mgmt.
For once, I'm pleased to write a POSITIVE review! Yesterday I called Rumpke to make arrangements to have my old water softener system picked up with the normal collection this date. The customer service person billed my credit card $22.50. She mentioned the charge was for 'water softener," but made NO mention of any weight restriction. This morning the empty brine tank was collected, but the heavy resin tank was left behind. Always picks up our trash on scheduled date. Never any trash blowing around the yard after they pick up. Container is in good shape, no cracks and wheels aren't broken.
No communication, no customer service, and a lack of all accountability. This company is worse than the trash they collect. I truly hope Waste Management and the other waste companies knock this company off the face of the earth. Would we miss them it they crumbled? No, we would probably celebrate!

For the 3rd time, our recycling has not been picked up. Our garbage is picked up but not the recycling. I have to take time out of my day to call and notify someone. Rumpke will state that someone will be out to pick it up the following day and no one shows up. So I call in again and leave a message and NO ONE calls back. We are not even discussing that the trash pick up drivers will sometimes pick up the recycling too and mix it all together. So essentially we have 2 large garbage cans. Good luck getting a call back. As a residential customer with Rumpke for 2-1/2 years, my weekly trash has not been picked up 4 times during this period. Last time was this past week. Scheduled pick up was for Friday Sept. 5, but trash was not picked up. Next door neighbor's trash was picked up each of the 4 times that mine was not. Called Rumpke Customer Service on Sept. 8 and Sept. 9. My trash is still setting in driveway. All invoices have been paid on time. Keep asking the Customer Service rep why my trash was not picked up, but neighbor's trash was. G... read more
