Dr. Catalina is awesome! She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and understands my Lily’s needs completely. We just moved to Ruskin this year and I feel so fortunate that Lily is under her wonderful care. The office is clean, well run, and staff is great. This practice is undoubtedly a real treasure. I have total piece of mind and know my little poodle is in excellent hands.

I had intended on having in-home euthanasia for my beloved 20 yr old Prancer when the time came. But due to their unavailability had to take him in to see the vet. Dr Catalina examined him and saw in his left eye what she suspected was a brain tumor which would explain his sudden inability to use his hind legs, uneven pupils, etc. I'm very thankful I instead took him in otherwise I wouldn't have had a clue. Absolutely brilliant with my cat and advice about the wildlife here. One thing about animals though. You Americans talk to them like your 14 year old girlfriend, but I talk with a bass-baritone British accent and they flock to me. Khakis and a pith helmet works as you are instantly recognizable but talking in a normal voice helps enormously.

I so appreciated the care my pet, Buddy, received for dental care. Jalier explained procedure and showed my pet kindness. And he kept his word that he would call the next day to check on him. Can't ask for more than that.

We have happily been with Ruskin Animal hospital since Dr Ott. Dr Waldy is amazing! He has literally treated all of our cats and dogs over the years. Just the best doctor ever! Dr Heaton is great. Jessica, our vet tech for many years is just simply wonderful! So thorough, so kind to the animals. We just love her! And Jameyson, who cared for my sick cat, was so thoughtful and put my kitty at ease. He talked to him and calmed him, just a great young man! I love our vet staff they are the best location I have dealt with. All of the staff are so sweet and kind to our Fur baby frenchie who has a lot of medical issues so because we are frequent guests it is nice to know we are always quickly greeted and treated with a care plan and options that are affordable. They explain what causes his issues whatever they are at the time from an ear infection to hot spots and gas to a fractured femur.
