RecommendedDr. Lissman treated our sweet Whitney from puppy hood until the time came to put her to sleep seventeen years later. From the first visit to the last, his compassion, knowledge and love for the animal he was treating were all so obvious. His staff exhibit that same compassion. We gladly made the trip from Lynbrook, where there are two veterinary practices within walking distance of our home. Our heartfelt thanks to OUR vet, Dr. Lissman.
I live in East Meadow, which is in Nassau County. I would never think of using any other animal hospital other than Sachem. I have know Dr. Lissman for thirty years and he has taken care of every one of my pet love and compassion. When we had to put our Belgian Kuddles down, he was there for us. Told us if this was his dog, he would not hesitate doing it because there was no quality of life left. We now have a new Belgian puppy, Kandy and she is his patient as well. RecommendedIt's been 2 1/2 years since my babies have been patients of Dr. Lissman since our move to AR. It's been 2 years since my babydoll Sascha breathed her last breath, and when I had to make a very difficult decision, my call was to Dr. Lissman who had been her vet for 12 years. He had taken a very emotional call from me and had no problem in explaining, but leaving the decision to me by saying I know you will make the right decision. Outstanding, kind, caring, professional. I brought my dog in for an emergency visit. Not only were they ready and waiting for him, they were very calming for this very nervous doggy mom. All it turned out to be was an allergic reaction but still the care we received did was amazing.
