Beautiful wide open space in the crowdedness of the South Jersey Philly suburbs. Well decorated and elegant building, and a nice outdoor space on the grass lawn with picnic tables and chairs. My girlfriend and I came here for the first time on a sunny Saturday afternoon in November. We were able to get seats outside in two Adirondack chairs with a small table between us. I really enjoy this winery. Very big with a huge parking lot. The decor and vibes are adorable! I booked a table outside and the service was great. I ordered the best sellers flight. Cute presentation and delicious wine. Love the variety with the flight options. For food, ordered the truffle parm fries, beet salad and margherita pizza. Everything was delicious but the star of the show were the truffle parm fries. Absolutely delicious and strong! I will always order these when visiting!
Over crowded very noisy. Good wine and local honey is a plus. Prices are a little high. No kids except on the lawn area. This could be a plus or not.
I am so excited to have this winery much closer to home; I have always driven by this location and happy this is now open. The decor/aesthetics is really pretty. I made last minute reservations for (4) and it was such a beautiful day out so we opted to sit outside. My husband and I stopped in at Saddlehill Winery on Thursday, 10/24. The beautiful grounds grabbed our attention from the road, and we couldn't wait to check things out. Bridgette, the hostess, was so helpful, and explained "the ropes" to us, about tastings, flights, and lunch!! We have been driving by this property our whole lives- always been a happy place. The land has never looked more lush and inviting - so today we wondered in. The staff is sweet, the atmosphere inside is elegant - the patio is fun and farm vibes. The food was delicious !!!! We loved the Prosciutto Fig Jam and brie flatbread - we even purchased a jar of the fig Jam to take home. Amazing food and the Chardonnay was perfect. Not like the normal New Jersey Chardonnay so much better. It's a working winery/ranch with animals and cowboy walking horses around them, putting them in their stables, etc. beautiful grounds. We were there last week and we are definitely going back. I would suggest reservations a must.
Place overall is good. They are just missing the mark on environment. The main room feels like a school cafeteria. They need to lower the lights, get rid of the ice cold white light bulbs in the chandeliers, play some music (jazz would be nice), and add candles to the tables.
