I’ve dined at Saltlik before and had wonderful experiences, so I was looking forward to this visit. Unfortunately, this time didn’t quite live up to expectations. Without a doubt, the service was great, but the steak left something to be desired. It just seemed to be a tougher cut of meat. They did offer to cook another one to the same investigation and it was the same. We both tend to be fairly picky about our steaks though, which is why we only go to one or two places for it but we thought we’d try this one. Food was okay but found it didn’t have depth of flavour. We had the Ahi Tuna appetizer, the Pork Milanese and the Shrimp Spaghettini and all dishes seemed to have one note. The service and ambiance was great though. Just the particular dishes we had could have been better.

Service was good even on a busy night. Food was also very good. So loud though. If you’re looking for an intimate dinner where you can hear each other this is not the spot.

My partner and I drove down from Edmonton for the long weekend and decided to dine with Saltlik . The best decision we ever made, from the ambience, service and food was amazing. Will definitely visit again.

Food was ok but not worth the cost. First time there and definitely didn’t live up to expectations. Probably won’t go back. Better steak at Modern steak, Cattle Baron or the Keg.

The food and ambience were amazing. My girlfriend and I had a great time. Victoria was awesome, so friendly and kind and we didn't have to wait at all for the food. 10/10 service from Victoria and the restaurant in general.

We went with friends for a Valentine’s dinner and had a 15/10 experience from the moment we walked through the door. Between the four of us we ordered several different dishes and drinks (only some we took photos of). Every dish we had was really well done, there were no bad dishes and we all had more than one favourite.
