We went to celebrate a friend’s 60th birthday. Upon arriving the four of us were offered a table but I asked the hostess for a booth as there were two empty booths near us. She checked and said no as already reserved. I said I wasn’t aware that I needed to request this on my reservation, as I had only mentioned it was a special birthday. A terrific experience, fantastic meal, kudos to the kitchen team, quick service from the bar. Our server Chantelle recognized a special event and made the experience even more special. Strong recommendation- they all took great care of us.

We had an amazing evening at Saltlik. Great Food and fantastic cocktails, all delivered with excellent and friendly service! Don't skip the Carpaccio! Joe was great and we hope to be back next time we are in Calgary

I’ve dined at Saltlik before and had wonderful experiences, so I was looking forward to this visit. Unfortunately, this time didn’t quite live up to expectations. Without a doubt, the service was great, but the steak left something to be desired. It just seemed to be a tougher cut of meat. They did offer to cook another one to the same investigation and it was the same. We both tend to be fairly picky about our steaks though, which is why we only go to one or two places for it but we thought we’d try this one. Food was okay but found it didn’t have depth of flavour. We had the Ahi Tuna appetizer, the Pork Milanese and the Shrimp Spaghettini and all dishes seemed to have one note. The service and ambiance was great though. Just the particular dishes we had could have been better.
