Had the chicken salad. Lettuce was a bit limp and the cheese bland. Not terrible but worth mentioning.
This place has good potential, however our service was noticeably slower than that of other tables. We had not made any special requests of any kind and could see no reason for the service. As well one of our guests was informed that the meal they ordered was not available, about a half hour after placing the order. On the plus side, staff was friendly and our entrees were complimentary on this occasion as the staff recognized the problems. This was much appreciated as it was not asked for, nor expected by any of our guests.
Convenient downtown location was only 1/2 block from our hotel, and within 1-2 blocks of numerous other hotels. We started with the calamari. Delicious!! Nice, mild and extremely tender, we all loved it. A side of aioli can be requested for dipping. My wife's petit filet was cooked medium well to perfection and outstanding. My medium rare rib eye was very good, might have been better medium for a bit more tenderness. SaltLik itself was a very nice restaurant, however, the crowd that was there were lazy and under-dressed. I found that this greatly took away from the experience. However, the delicious food and our fabulous waitress made up for it! YUM STEAK!
Quality of steak was average. Baked potatoe was cold. Wait staff was inexperienced.
The restaurant has a great menu of selections, and everyone enjoyed the food from the salads to the sides to the steak and fish. The staff was very polite and prompt, and educated about the wine selections. Overall a great dining experience!
Cannot wait to go back and try the different items on the menu!
Good after a long day for after work drinks/dinner meetings! Out of town guests like it, and its close to hotels like the Marriott, Hyatt and LeGermain
Our server was fantastic. She saw that the lava cake was overcooked (tasted burnt) so she made sure it was removed from the bill. Very friendly staff!
