We've been to Saltlik several times, and always enjoyed it, however this time was different. The service wasn't as good, we never saw a bus boy leaving the server too busy and therefore absent from our table. The food wasn't as good, and it was brutally hot in the room. We eventually moved 2 times trying to find a comfortable table. It was barely an ok experience.
Meals were really good as always. Our server provided excellent service considering it was at lunch time. One of the party had the pulled pork sandwhich - though it was good, it did seem a little small.
I haven't been to Saltlik for some time. It was always excellent; one of my favourites. The food was always very good. Steaks were awesome. However, this last time I can honestly say that the steak was not up to par. It was fine, but not excellent. The service was excellent, as is the ambiance.
I love their hamburgers. Have been many times with out of towners.
Saltlik was very accomodating, provided vases for flowers. Service was great, as well as the food. The only thing is parking... on Saturday night there was no parking to find.
I stayed away from Saltlik for years because I'm not a fan of steak. But when we received tickets to the symphony and most of our usual downtown restaurants were booked, I looked on the internet and saw that it had a menu with so much more than steak. The chicken I had was fantastic. We were, unfortunately, a bit rushed because of the traffic downtown and our food was a bit slow in arriving, but everything tasted great. I am sure it is great at other times, but I have only been for lunch. A bit too much fried food on the appetizer menu, but it is all good. Have never been disappointed with the food or service on any visit.
Amazing food,amazing atmosphere and great service! This place is great for a special occasion, or to celebrate. I would recommend Saltlik to anyone.
Didn't enjoy the fries (to crispy). Expected wedges. Should have asked what kind they were. Also too many. Should have had a side of vegies as part of.
