$79 for a rib eye...should be a thick steak at a premium steakhouse. But it was thin as paper. Restaurant was out of many things on a Tuesday night and that dimished the experience. Appetizer selection was poor.

To start off on a positive - the calamari is amazing. Now to the not so positive - I booked a reservation for my mothers birthday. The mains were cold when they arrived and my salmon was dry. I had to clear my tables plates and request another server take them away and grab us water as our server did not/was not able to come by our table for ~40 minutes after we finished our meal. I would have gone 5 stars across the board but we were seated in a corner by a door with a wonderful view of a pile of propane tanks and felt squeezed in instead of part of this beautiful restaurant. I had asked for a nice seat because my wife and I dont get to go out much but hopefully we never get that table again as it cast a negative feeling over our experience from the beginning.

Worst steak I ever had. It was literally worse than a Denny’s special. I fed a 90 dollar rib eye to my dog when I got home. I couldn’t even cut into a piece that wasn’t tough and full of grizzle. A rib eye is suppose to have nice fatty rippling, this was absolutely full of fat, a steak knife couldn’t even cut into it. They should have never plated that.

I e never had a bad meal at Salt Lik, but the chicken salad is pretty bad. I know it’s a steak place but I’m on a diet so help a guy out!

We went for appetizers prior to a show at Arts Common. The calamari was very good. The French onion soup was terrible with no flavour and the grilled chicken salad did not have grilled chicken. It had shaved deli chicken and very little of it. A disappointing experience.

Food is great. Ambience is lovely. The service is not great. Our server wasn’t just inattentive but flat out rude. There was a fly in our drink and one of our orders was missed, we were treated like a massive inconvenience. Ultimately we asked for a new one and the second server was great but poor experience, it was so uncomfortable Unfortunately won’t be back

Nice place, good service. Our only complaint was to do with the somewhat over-flavoured food. For us, the steak was appropriately seasoned, the Brussels sprouts were very highly flavoured and seasoned (and charred, and sauced … but then again, anything to disguise the taste of Brussels sprouts) but the side of mushrooms, described on the menu as “mushrooms” were really spicy.
