I had a poor experience with my girlfriend. The menu had changed recently, so our favourite drink and appetizer were no longer on the menu. I found the menu in general to be quite inflexible. For example, the steak came with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. There were no options to substitute out brussel sprouts, except buying a cauliflower dish for an additional $12. Very average food (steak) and service was okay at best
Food was ok and service friendly, but slow to start. The place itself was very nice and ambiance would have been great if it wasn’t for the choice of music. I would have expected a place like this to have classier music than techno/dance type music, especially for a nice dinner. Probably a fun place to meet with friends for dinner, but not for a romantic date night .
The steam which is usually very good was quite tough and grissled. The knife was not sharp enough to cut. A $74 steak needs to be easier to eat.
