The staff was exceptional attentive. Our food order appeared to be neglected as it was a very busy night. The lobster mashed potatoes were hot and tasty. The maple brussel sprouts were warm and very yummy. The french fries were hot out of the fryer. However my sirloin steak was cold - not even warm - cold. As was the béarnaise sauce - stone cold. We regularly go to Saltlik in Banff every time we're there and we love it, we always get the biggest steak on the menu. This was our first time at Saltlik Calgary and were very disappointed. Even though we had a reservation, we got seated in one of the lesser spots. They moved us after we requested it - to a spot that was better. Our server was nice. The problem was the food. Steak was overcooked hard as a rock and overpriced. All our sides were cold when we got them. Since it was already later and we were hungry we didn’t send it back but the $300 bill wasn’t great value. I used to come to this place all the time. In fact I used to say it was the best steakhouse in Calgary. Terribly disappointing it’s gone so far downhill

When you have booked a table one month in advance and arrive on time, I don't expect to have to wait while a table is prepared for my party. Poor slow service, I don't expect to have to go and find my server to ask for drinks and it would be nice if the table was set with crockery before the food arrived. Not all choices on menu were available, food was mediocre. Will not be returning to dine here.

Drinks and shared appies amongst group of 4. Appies we’re good but very small and way way overpriced. Will definitely search out different eatery next time in the downtown core. Too bad as we always used to like Saltlik.

Haven't been for a long time. Still very salty. Had better steak at Cactus club for comparable price just simply as a better cut without getting to the taste. Rated service low as all our softdrinks were empty halfway through the food and no top ups or water were offered.
