Very disappointing. Food so so. Served by 3people but one really only seemed interested in getting tip. Neighbouring table got wro.g food and waited ages for correct food and this was on a quiet Sunday night. Choose restaurant for convenient location - that was the best bit!
Music and particularly the base too loud. When told the server said they would attend to it but nothing was done and they did not return to ask if we were now happy.........so I guess we will not return and will spread the word. I have sent the restaurant a response to their feedback email so lets see if there is any feedback to the customer. we have been before but will not be back. Long story short - our food took forever to come out and it wasn't cooked the way we had asked it to be cooked (steaks). When I told the waitress she said she would be right back and never returned. On the other hand, my vegetables were good and they didn't charge me for my meal.
Service was a nightmare. Half of our food order was wrong. Filet steak sandwich became Sirloin steak sandwich (still charged filet price). Asked for no goat cheese, came with goat cheese. My vegetarian friend asked for no bacon bites on her salad and it still came with bacon bites. Asked them to take it back, they just took what was on top out and when she dug into her salad, they were still in there. Waitress was never to be found. Food was overpriced, $25 for a 6oz steak sandwich? Spaghetti sauce was sweet, in a bad way. Almost as if it was made with cherries or sugar instead of salt. Meatballs had large chunks of raw garlic and the soup of the day was fishy
Went out for a guys night dinner, looking for a steak. Absolutely the worst ribeye I've had in my life, either the knives were as dull as spoons, and I've got the jaw strength of my 95 yr old grandma, or I was actually eating shoe leather (ordered it medium rare). The old fashioned cocktail from the bar was the only redeeming factor. Should have stuck with cocktails and gone somewhere else like Vintage for a meal. Definitely wouldn't recommend or ever go back.
Arrived at 11:45. drinks arrived promptly. next 1/2 an hour we saw NO ONE despite menus in front of us. waved down waitress. another 10 minutes. two waitresses confused over whos table ours was.
Most visits to salt lick have been good. However this last time our food was good and the service was poor. Felt rushed by the server, and the server was very forgetful. Still a recommend, I think the young lady was just having an off night
Lunch menu selections very limited and excessively over priced. After half an hour of being seated, and still not acknowledged as diners, the server needed to be flagged down to take our order. There weren't enough wait staff available for the lunch crowd. The server also tipped over a glass of water on our table and a guest. Our appetiezers were comped. Food is mediocre at best and this will be my last visit to the restaurant.
