We were in Calgary and wanted a good steak house and after asking a few people they recommended Saltlik. We didn't need a reservation and the food was outstanding. Great place to eat and meet.

First time to Calgary for the Stampede
Best calamari I have ever had!! The steak was great and great choice of drinks.
Food was great, but an inexperienced staff
As always, our food at the Saltlik was excellent and well made. I have never had a bad meal at the Saltlik. However, unfortunately our service was poor this time around. We had four different servers taking care of our table, and as a result, none of them seemed to take ownership in making sure we were taken care of. Our drinks and orders were taken straight away, and the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The food and service was outstanding!!!
Music was Hip and Loud. Took away from the ambiance. Waitress had to repeatedly answer our questions.
Dinner at Saltlik was one of the most anticipated meals of our lives - friends who lived in Calgary RAVED about it so we had to go when we were in town. The food actually exceeded our expectations, but the service was extremely hurried and important details in our reservation request were ignored.
