Waiter was new but the overall service was slow and several mistakes with the order which was beyond what I would expect for in training
I’ve been coming to Saltlik for a few years now and the last few times I was disappointed with the food. Not quite sure what happened but it almost tastes like they started using microwave ovens to get their food heated up. The steak is missing that barbecue taste that I have been used to and even the Keg seems to be able to get mostly right. I think I’ll have to find somewhere else in Calgary for a good steak. It was very enjoyable
Service was excellent, friendly and attentive. Food was no better than average. My steak was undercooked and lukewarm. Dessert had to be redone because it fell apart in the kitchen. The restaurant manager did advise us of that delay of 15 minutes.
Saltlik was incredible. The server was attentive but not overly so, our drinks were well-prepared, and the steaks were some of the best we've ever had. Try the lobster mashed potatoes, you won't regret it!
