After walking around for 20 minutes without anyone making the smallest attempt to just greet me, I asked the guy in guitar section if they carried the Jeff Beck model strat. He didn’t know. He really didn’t even know who Jeff Beck was. Why? He’s a bass player. Then asked him if he carried the SRV strat. He didn’t know. Haven’t been in a Sam Ash in a long time, but this isn’t the Sam Ash I remember.
When to Sam Ash to sell two instruments that due to health problems with my hands and fingers I can no longer play. I had purchased these items from this store over the last two years ,sales person was very helpful and courteous. Both were in great condition and hardly used at all. Price was a lot less then I expected but since I could not play them anymore I took the store credit they offered me. My suggestion is If you have to sell your gear try to sell yourself to get a better price for them.
I recommend waiting until the scientific genius running the show there figures out they are the only place in the county still requiring face masks. What a joke. Here I come Guitar Center!!!!

Finally I was directed to another female who was friendly and helpful. As my husband used to say, it only takes one a—hole to ruin things. Because of that one a—hole named Mike I will n... read more
Love the store despise the guitar salesmen.. the long time employees are great but I would never again buy from an arrogant rude guitar salesman there again. Sorry..
Rude. I’ll never forget how rude the salesman was. I’ve stayed away from all Sam Ash stores from that moment on. Sweetwater #1 ... Forever.
I think his name was Lex and he was totally helpful. He even took the time to talk to me about some pro audio gear I'll be getting into in a couple months. And I was just there to buy a Vox bass headphone amp which turned out to be awesome!!!
Charged me for a Fender Blues Jr 4 and gave me an older model.
I am looking for a 15" Remo snare side drum head. I called your store and asked the drum guy if you had one in stock. He said that he did. I asked again. 15" Remo snare side drum head. He said yes. So I made the 25 minute trip from St. Petersburg ON A SUNDAY because it's small business weekend blah blah blah blah. I get there, ask for the head and he shows me a 15" Remo BATTER HEAD and tries to tell me - a. It will work and b.you can't get them because it is an unusual size. FYI- at the 2 colleges I teach at, my offici... read more
