Remember Sam Ash when they were on King's Highway. I don't remember Empire Blvd, but I do remember K.H. Too bad I didn't buy anything back then, 1970. Anyhow I went to a Sam Ash in Florida, Margate to be exact. Great big gigantic store with tons of toys. I spent a few hours there trying to get a guitar, but not knowing much. A young man named Dean worked with me and we finally were able to get a Gibson SG that I thought was particularly well suited for me. Great customer service. I've been a Sam Ash customer for decades, first in Brooklyn, then Hempstead, then in Carl Place and now in Margate. At times the items I've needed were not in stock, but without fail, the sales rep made certain that I'd get what I needed very quickly.
