I like Sam Ash. The employees are usually very friendly and ready to help with the odd exception. I like their wide range of selection. Jamie the manager does a great job and runs a tight ship. The one thing that I don't like is their acoustic department. When looking for a guitar you want playability and a feel for the instrument, especially when looking at the upper echelon guitars. When I go into Sam Ashe most of their acoustic guitars (at least in my experience) are way out of tune and many have very old and even rusted ... read more
I wanted to give my brother something I know he loves, and that's music. I thought about a gift card and when I called the store, they sent my call to Rockie (sp?). When I learned that they also had lesson cards, I knew that would be the right thing for Bill. He is in their band program having a fabulous time. I was able to pay for several lessons for him to participate for free for several weeks. When I called to wish him happy birthday and tell him, he was so happy!
