Great personnel. Shout out to Samuel from maintenance for always being direct and helpful and April from the property management team for answering all emails/questions really promptly. Building itself was a bit old and run down (no microwave, no dishwasher), especially for the price but that’s Boston for you.
I was falling behind on rent last year and was on the verge of having to relocate. Mark Pasciscia (the property administrator) was extremely patient and considerate with me. After going through all of our options and choosing the right one for me, he then gave me a fair amount of time to get it done. Happy to say that I'm now able to pay my rent even early if need be. Major respect to a man in that field of work cause I'm sure it's not easy.
The folks who run Samia—both at the management level (Alexandra, Dave, etc) and the folks on the ground (Daniel, Cristobal, Andres, etc.) are all wonderful people. Residences in Boston are generally older, but to have a company like Samia that quickly, kindly, and energetically responds to any issues is an amazing thing to have. I've lived in my building 18 years. So I'm going to have to say overall I'm happy. I have had a few issues with maintenance but not with the company itself. Let's keep it real. A few issues over 18 years is nothing to cry about. They got resolved.
