My (studio) 1-room unit at 1355/mo was actually a sprinkler room, which means that my unit housed the water system for the entire building, which means that the fire department could bust down my door without my permission. I rented an apartment under Samia Companies for the year of 2023. My roommate and i quickly discovered we had cockroaches and mice also living in the apartment. In January, an old, and neglected radiator from a higher floor leaked water through the building, causing flooding and the electricity to go out. This forced the entire first floor (where my roommate and i lived) to be evacuated to live in a hotel for a month. Elegant and clean place. Plus, it is a friendly welcome place for dogs; no matter how big your dog is, you can bring it. I have seen some massive dogs in the building, and some of them scared the hell out of me... But it is all good. Very convenient location for public transportation, with easy access to the purple line now. The rent increases yearly by at least $ 150.00 due to inflation. We love living here. Safe and plenty of parking spaces are available.. Thank you
Deceptive Company; Bait and Switched Terms of lease only after paying application fees. Originally when I applied for apartment it was first and last to move after finally paying everything and reaching approval they changed it to first last and security to more. 37 page lease that mostly protects the company from liabilities. Not willing to work with you to make you feel more secure thst they will even renew. Terms of lease say that rent will go up 150% if not move out by lease end date. All of there properties in Allston/Brighton are disgusting, old and poorly managed buildings. Nobody in their buildings like their apartments. They are overpriced and nothing works. 1. Water system doesn’t work half of the time. The shower randomly drops and spikes in temperature. You burn yourself on the open pipes in the bathroom too. 2. Washer and dryers don’t work 3.
