TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Easily the best chicken burger I’ve had in the U.S. The staff were all incredibly friendly, and the whole meal was just perfect. I ordered Combo #3 and went with Extra Hot since I’m Korean and pretty immune to spicy food — it had just the right kick and was packed with flavor. The mac & cheese on the side was creamy and delicious, and even the pickles were amazing. If you’re a chicken burger lover and happen to be nearby, this place is a must-visit. Had a great first experience here! First of all - the staff was so friendly and seemed to really care that guests had a good experience. It was unexpected but so appreciated! The food was really good - crispy fries, nice heat to the chicken, plenty of pickles, good bun to the sliders, yummy sauce, etc. Really hit the spot! Would definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for chicken!
It was clean and we were helped quickly and our cashier was really nice! Heard great things about this place and came to check it out. Food looks great! Placed a Togo order, love that it was different levels of spicy cause I’m a wimp with hot stuff 🤣🙈👏🏼🔥
If I could leave me than 5 stars I would. Daves had a clean, great atmosphere, the staff are WONDERFUL and polite. Axel was our cashier, so pleasant and helpful and Summer was also great, coming by to check if we needed anything as we ate. It sure didn't seem like we were in a fast food joint. Outside patio, fast service..good tunes at pleasant volume. Go Dave's, Go Daves's!!! Lol
Great location! Menu is easy to read, reasonable price and great variety of heat temperature for food. We usually visit the location on the west side of town. Noticed they have a drive thru at this location. Which led to this experience it being not as great as the west side location. Understanding that drove thru always take priority our food suffer because of it. Fries were cold, one out of two sliders were good. It was 6 of us and 3 out of 6 had to take care of business immediately if you know what I mean.
