Although I don't personally know any of the residents here, I would like to share my experience with the staff while dealing with a highly stressful situation. My motorcycle broke down in front of San Francisco Towers. Due to the timing and the nature of the bike's issue, I was unable to move it or have it towed until the following morning. This place is Nirvana for upscale seniors. I am not sure when they began accepting non-owners in skilled nursing. My dad was so fortunate to receive skilled nursing care here as a non-owner. Medicare paid for 20 days. After, there was a $157.50 Medicare copayment, a bargain for the wonderful care 1 block from my parent's condo. Without Medicare I believe it is approximately $500 per day. Clients, in New York City, hired me to inspect and analyze the top three Senior Residences in San Francisco- for their elderly parents. I was escorted on a very thorough, excellent, tour of the huge facility. The SF Towers is a posh, very busy, high energy facility. First impressions are lasting, correct? A great place to live to have your cares and woes handled on a daily basis! Friends live there in the independent living and they managed to divest themselves of their car due to the marvelous transportation afforded the residents. Any request possible is handled by the front desk personnel (really security people) with courtesy and aplomb!
