It was a hard transition for my friend, but she is getting better. This is a really nice community, they a very good with keeping everything nice and clean. The staff has been very patient with her, considering she hasn't been the easiest person to deal with. She is pleased with the meals. Only down side of this community is that it is in the middle of downtown. So the residents can't really go outside often. Overall this a community I would recommend.
I really it here at this community everything has been going very well for me since I moved here. This is a very nice community and it looks wonderful very clean and neat. The staff is very friendly and helpful they are always there when I need them. There isn't to many activities, but the activities they do offer are nice. The food is fine not special I enjoy the meals. I would only recommend you get a big apartment because the small apartments are really small.
I think they need to improve on keeping the toilets cleaner in the room. There has been a back-up twice. I know it's not suppose to smell sweet, but it could be cleaned better. Other than that, my brother is pleased. He is comfortable and is being watched and taken care of when he needs it.
My overall rating of the Pacifica Senior Living San Leandro is 5 stars. This is a very clean facility with great care givers. The care givers do a great job. Everything I have seen encourages me that this is the proper decision to make for my loved one. They keep her busy. She hasn't had any negative things to say about the food. If she has a problem they are quick to take care of it. High marks for "A Place for Mom"!
The monthly fee seem quite high, the living space quite small. The meal menu seemed to lack choice for dinner. The place was clean and pleasant. Annual increase to the monthly fee is pretty steep.
Nice community. Dedicated staff. Located near family. CONS: Price point.
Very sedate, motel 6-like. Indicated a willingness to work out diabetes management which did make this a bit more attractive. I don't see this community as operating at a level that would engage my father.
We met with the Director and had a very nice tour. We liked the sizes of several units. It too is a good size.
My brother was left in his own urine. Bed soaked with urine. List weight, due to lack of food. Very bad experience. But a place for mom was excellent. They oversold their ability to handle my brother. Families should take a look at everything to ensure they can get what they need.
