Excellent customer service from top to bottom. They made me feel assured around my issues, were knowledgeable around diagnosis/treatments and did a great job addressing my issue. Again, the level of service from the first phone call to walking into their offices to bedside manner to treatment from Dr Bill Metaxas - all top notch!
San Mateo Podiatry Group is "fantastic" and exceeded my expectations! From the moment I scheduled my first appointment to walking out the door after my visit, each and every individual in this office was friendly, kind and attended to my every need. A big "thank you" to Dr. Wilhelm and Shareem as they made me feel so at ease during my procedure. I highly recommend San Mateo Podiatry if you have an issue with your feet or ankles - wonderful organization!
Upon my first visit I was greeted by two smiling receptionists that checked me in and took my insurance information. Took no more than a couple of minutes. Then was greeted by Shareen, a medical assistant who was also just as upbeat as the receptionists. Shareen gave me the history of the practice then brought me into an examination room to find a gift for me on the examination chair. The staff were friendly and efficient. The doctor was condescending and assumed that I would have thousands of dollars to spend out of pocket. The gift at the first appointment and constant requests (by text and email) to write a review suggest they have aced the marketing aspect of a private practice. I don't have any idea whether their services serve patients well, but I was only offered something incredibly expensive that I can't afford, even though they have you do a survey at the first appointment to identify barriers t... read more
Everything was great, from check in to check out. Dr. Wilhelm couldn't have been better and very happy I was seen by him. Couldn't be happier.
