Upon arrival I told the tech 'Josh' that I thought the motor was making a odd sound and that I feared it might break. That was the initial reason i called you guys to come out in the first place - to look at the motor, and to do a annual checkup as well. I called another company first. They informed me I would need to replace a valve for $800. I called Sanders and Johnson for a second opinion, Don was very patient while explaining the operation and pressures required. He did not discount the need for a new valve but said it was not necessary until the AC starts icing up.

I called to request service on the furnace. When the technician arrived, I mentioned that an energy audit had shown that there was excess CO emission on startup. He acted annoyed, and said that he didn't carry the $2,800 piece ofequipment to check that, that I should have told the office. Had they asked if we were having problems, I would have mentioned it, but I mistakenly thought that checking CO emissions was part of a furnace check. I had him continue with a routine check on the rest of the unit. He told me he couldn'... read more

Made appointment for an estimate for air handler replacement. I made appointments for 3 companies to come out on the same day. One of them scheduled 10-10:30, the other scheduled 9-11:30. I informed both over the phone that there might be someone else giving me an estimate at the same time and both said it was okay. <br /> One of the owners of this company came out to give the estimate. I needed some work down on my whole house humidifier. Specifically, the solenoid and transformer needed to be installed and the unit needed to be wired. The tech said he didn't know how much it was going to cost on the phone and the lady on the phone didn't mention a trip fee. I should have asked. I'm giving them an F overall due to the fact that they wanted to charge me over $300 to install $50 worth of parts (approximately) in 45 minutes. Sorry, that's ridiculous and gets an F from me. This company actually exposed some of the deceptions that another company was telling us. They were trying us to get all these repairs done, and none of those things needed to be done. This company had good ratings, so we decided to go with them.
